Holding micropipettes are used to immobilize the oocyte or embryo during micromanipulation.
- Remove micropipette cradle from Tyvek® pouch and remove cradle from plastic sleeve.
- Use caution when removing micropipette from blue cradle. To remove the micropipette, gently press the sides of the blue cradle together at the forward press point (tip end, see diagrams). Lift the pipette tip from its cradle. Then remove the tail from its cradle by pressing the rear press points.
- To replace the micropipette into the holders, simply reverse the steps described above.
